G-License Firearms Qualification and requalification
Annual G-License Firearms Requalification
Annual 4-hour Firearm Training and Qualification Course – we periodically offer the Annual Requalification Course. This program includes a review of safe firearms handling, range safety, firearms mechanics, and the required firearms qualification and written test.
G-License Last Minute Qualification
Running out of time to qualify?
We offer individual G License 4-hour qualification course that can be scheduled based on range availability. You must have a valid G-License at the time of your requalification.
If your license is already expired, you must take the entire G-License 28-Hour Course.

Statewide G-License 28-Hour Course
Statewide Firearms License (G-License) 28 Hour Course – We periodically offer the Florida 28 Hour G License Course. This course consists of classroom, practical, and range instruction. Legal aspects for use of a firearm in the performance of security officer duties, firearms safety and mechanics, and firearms qualifications are included in this course. Check Schedule for course dates.
G-License Qualification Required Equipment
Firearms Courses require the student to have a duty firearm, at least three magazines, duty holster and magazine pouch, belt, proper range clothing including closed toe shoes, hearing and eye protection. 150 rounds of ammunition is also required.
